Unseen Helpers

Unseen Helpers

When my spirit
is peaceful,
and my mind
at rest,
my eyes are opened
and I see them;

dancing in the meadow
beneath the sparkling stars
where the willows
break the moonlight
into fragments;

tiptoeing through the garden
in the chill air
of the mist-kissed dawn
strewing flower petal
love-notes
along my path;

lounging on the sofa
on an idle afternoon
stuffing the cushions
with dandelion blossoms
to give wings
to my dreams.

About inklingscommunity

I am a struggling Christian, committed pacifist, near-obsessive recycler, incurable animal lover, inveterate tree-hugger; a nature mystic, a socialized introvert, an advocate for the vulnerable, an opponent of exploiters.
