The temple veil

The Temple Veil

Deborah Beach Giordano
April 6, 2010

A fragile radiance
shimmers above
all who gather here;

inspiring
the faithful,

encouraging
the seekers,

protecting
the vulnerable,

sheltering
the weak,

comforting
those in need.

Revealing
the sacred

by concealing
her beauty
beneath its folds:

a bridal veil
for Shekenah.

Inspired by the art/prayer
“Temple of the Cosmos”

About inklingscommunity

I am a struggling Christian, committed pacifist, near-obsessive recycler, incurable animal lover, inveterate tree-hugger; a nature mystic, a socialized introvert, an advocate for the vulnerable, an opponent of exploiters.
